The intensity of glucose metabolism is determined not only by the regulating action of water – soluble vitamins, pancreatic and adrenal hormones, but also by the content of the main markers of gluconeogenesis in the blood-the spectrum of fatty acids, the concentration of lactate and pyruvate.
