The cannabinoids form a group of related compounds of which about 110 are known, Of the major cannabinoids in C. sativa L. cannabidiol(CBD), a non-psychoactive cannabinoid, both considered with a broad scope of potential medical applications. CBD was shown to exert modulating-effects of the human endocannabinoid system; they possess analgesic, antibacterial,antiemetic, antiepileptic, anti-inflammatory, anti-proliferative, antipsychotic properties. At present, Canada, The Kingdom of the Netherlands, Israel, Switzerland, Spain and other countries and nearly 25 states of the United States have legalized CBD medical use. Daqing Branch of Heilongjiang Academy of Sciences(DQHAS) engaged in Cannabinoids separation and purification research.
