β-cyclodextrin (β-CD) is a cyclic α-1,4-glucan produced from starch or starch derivates using cyclodextrin glycosyltransferase (CGTase). It is documented in the Chinese Pharmacopoeia as a pharmaceutical excipient and also in the catalogue of the Chinese Food Additives, respectively. Our research team from Shaanxi Provincial Institute of Microbiology has been engaged in the study of β-CD production technology for many years. We are able to provide a complete set of β-CD production technology, which has been put into application by many leading domestic manufacturers.
