In recent years, mineral oil pollutants in food have become a hot topic and a difficult problem in the field of food safety. The reason is that the composition of mineral oil pollutants is rather complex and interfered by numerous factors, making it difficult for the conduct of the analysis. After years of painstaking research and development, we take the lead in developing an analysis method of mineral oil combining solid phase extraction column purification with gas chromatography (with large-volume sample introduction system), which is suitable for most laboratories, and we have developed a complete set of analysis solutions according to the reagents and consumables in the analysis procedures, including mixed standard solutions, quality control samples, solid phase extraction column and other experimental consumables, as well as the standard operating procedures of analysis. In compliance with the operating procedures, users can successfully complete the analysis of mineral oil with the reagents and consumables provided by this method.

The difficult and key points of mineral oil analysis lie in the pretreatment method. This set of solutions is suitable for daily analysis and detection in ordinary laboratories. With the advantages of low cost and flexible operation, the solution has filled the gap in this analysis field in China.
