The copper slips, containing about 35% of lead, 20% of copper, 15% of tin and 20% of arsenic, are produced in the process of lead refining from copper. Currently, they are processed in an Arc Furnace together with other Pb-containing materials to obtain crude lead and Cu-As-slag. Further processing of this slag causes problems. It is advisable to develop a new technology for separate processing of copper slips with separate extraction of all metals into products suitable for further processing or disposal.
