The magnetometer-inclinometer MI-3803 is designed for continuous simultaneous measurements in one descent-lifting operation:

- vertical and modulus of horizontal components of the geomagnetic field vector

- magnetic azimuth of the well

- zenith angle

- the magnitude of the magnetic susceptibility.

The magnetometer is designed for operation in drilling wells using a single-core cable up to 6000 m long.

Information is recorded on an IBM-compatible personal computer via a serial port or computerized logging complexes of the "Hector" type.
