Genotypic characterization of bacterial cultures is proposed using molecular biology methods, capillary sequencing of the 16S rRNA gene and high-throughput sequencing of genome with subsequent assembly. Sequences oftaxonomy-specific genesin microbial strains can be estimated, as well as complete genomes. Sequencing of the 16S rRNA gene is proposed for analysis and taxonomic characterization of bacterial associations and microbiomes.
